the money secret
In response to the current credit crisis and rising living costs “The Money Secret” training course is about to be held in St Albans. The object of the course is to teach basic skills in managing personal finances and to avoid debt related problems.
The course provides help and encouragement to those who would like to develop skills such as creating a personal budget, learning how to borrow cost effectively and how to pay-off debts. It is highly practical and was developed by the charity “Care for the Family” in conjunction with the author/conference speaker Rob Parsons, who wrote the supporting book.
“The Money Secret” is being run by a group of local people, who are members of Network Church in St Albans and is open to all. “Working through the material together as a group should provide a strong sense of shared learning, mutual support and, hopefully, even some fun” say the course tutors.
The course will run over 7 evenings at the Friends Meeting House in St Albans, starting on Tuesday 19th February. There is no charge for the course, although those who are able to are invited to make a one-off donation of £10 to cover the cost of the course materials.
