Gift of life, we are all wonderfully and differently made, people often surprise us.

If we're judgemental of other people we tend to think that that's what God is like with us. He journeys with us and sees us as we are but isn't judgemental with us.

Why did we dedicate Sofia this morning. Because we value her we want to dedicate her to God. We believe that human life is extremely valuable.

Many of us don't think we're valuable, valuable to anybody or God.  Sometimes we grow up like that. 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me' what a load of rubbish. We spend years sorting out things that were spoken into our childhood, sorting the good from the bad.

Head to Heart weekend helps with this. Gill shared about how God had helped her on a similar weekend.

God want us to know that he loves us. And he wants others to know that he loves them. People are surprised when they find out what God is like because they often think of him as strict, judgmental, full of ‘no’s. But Jesus wanted little children to be around him, he wanted to show them that he accepted them.

Children are kingdom people and Jesus loved spending time with them.

People are important to God. Are they important to us. Pray about that as we engage with our spheres of influence.
