Encourage one another

It's good to affirm and encourage one another.
We are equipped for service so we are all good at something. We are Christ's hands and feet. It's right to encourage one another. Also to train each other, to get ourselves trained.
How can we encourage each other to listen to God in our everyday lives?
We split into groups with the following tasks:: share something which nobody in the group knows about you. Then share something you're proud of, that you do well, maybe something you've done .
Then we had bits of paper on which we had to write positive things about the other people in the group, which were passed round. By the end each person had 'their' piece of paper stating positive things about them.
We also had to write on a post-it note something we felt we needed in order to do what God was currently asking us to do. The post-it notes were stuck on a noticeboard so we could offer to help or pray for each other. |
